GEOGRAPHY:
Palm Beach is an island off the lower east coast of Florida. The town, with a total area of six square miles, is 14 miles long and one half mile at its widest point. To the east is the Atlantic Ocean, and to the West is Lake Worth (part of the Intracoastal Waterway) which separates Palm Beach from West Palm Beach.

CLIMATE:
Subtropical. Average temperatures range from 66 to 83 degrees F. Average annual precipitation totals approximately 54 inches rainfall. Mean relative humidity is 72%.

SHOPPING:
Shopping on famed Worth Avenue is a delight, with its shops and salons from all over the world and its Esplanade that features a complex of boutiques and a leading department store to enhance the street. Other shopping areas include Royal Poinciana Way, Peruvian Avenue and County Road.

TRANSPORTATION:
Palm Beach International Airport, located in West Palm Beach, has facilities for charter and executive aircraft and services many of the commercial airlines. There are also two private airports in the area.
